Drexel is going to honor my agreement with them. I can continue to keep taking classes at DCCC at 1/3rd of the price of Drexel and they will take all credits that they tell me to take (english, math, science, tech classes, If I take basket weaving, they will not take it). I will add more later, but it was a good day.
Not much going on, still don’t know whats going on with Drexel yet. I have had family members stop by the site, that is cool, they seem to like it. I think its an impressive site for being all open source. Anyway, still here, still kicken. Anyone can feel free to leave a comment, no ads or junk mail from leaving comments.
Just finished putting up a number of pictures in the Thanksgiving Trip album. If anyone would like a picture taken down, or would like a full size picture (3072 X 2304, 3-5 MB), please let me know and I will email it to you. If anyone else has pictures from the holiday would like to have their pictures posted in the album please email them to me, and I would be happy to post them.
I am home from the Mountains. My cat wouldn’t get off me for the first 20 minutes that I was home, now he is ignoring me. That’s the usual. I had a great time being with family I haven’t seen in well over 5 years. It was such a good time, it made me wish that I had gone to more functions over the years. Can’t change the past but I do look forward to seeing them again. I took many pictures and I will put them up soon.
Why is Apple acting like windows? Today my firewall popped up with “Bonjour Service” wants to reach the internet. I am like, what the hell is that? Never heard of it. Digging into my computer I find out it has already been installed and sitting snugly in my program files. What does it do. Why is it here. Who said it could be here. Were all good questions that were not answered, I did some digging to find out its from Apple. Bonjour for Windows installed itself on my computer, but not only that, it didn’t come with an uninstaller, and we all know, windows add and remove programs suck, SO with nothing else, I use the Microsoft uninstaller, then went in to the program file to delete the folder and other remnants, then I get the message that I don’t have permission to do it. Apparently it installed a .dll into my start up program. SO then I have to open another program (AutoRuns), just to deactivate that. After all said and done, it still wouldn’t let me delete it, but luckily my shredder screwed it up enough to release its “Microsoft” like grip on my computer. I like Apple, they have good products, but stop acting like Microsoft. I didn’t ask for this software, you didn’t tell me what it does before you installed, so GET OFF.
I am having fun playing with the website, I embed videos, I have also link to my own videos that I have uploaded directly to the server. I have written and gone back to do adjustments like tossing in page breaks that I type in manually. I don’t think I can ever do that professionally, its a entirely different language. I have fun with it, and I think it will be helpful to have the knowledge in the future. My friend Lloyd helps me out a lot, but when hes not around I find the answers to my questions here. That website is a good learning tool to use. Anyway…..

Okay, this is based on a true story, but the people in the interview is fake. I figured so, because it was just too perfect. It still makes me laugh though.
Nothing much is going on lately. Things are not great, school has pretty much gone to shit. I am hoping all my credits will transfer to Drexel University okay, but I can’t get anyone who knows anything to give me some answers. I haven’t taken the Olds out for a ride in a month, I hope a decent day comes up soon, I need to get the tires rolling before it forgets its a good running machine. Seems old things forget that. Speaking of that, I am another year older. I am 33 now, not exactly where I wanted to be in life, but not as bad as it could be. I have always wanted to learn the German language so I got the Rosetta Stone for German and I started this week. I can now count to ten in German, and thats about it. I can also say “the girl is sitting on the yellow airplane”, I don’t really see a need for that one, but anyway, life will go on. Hopefully

Well, I had Vista for a year, until it was broken (which wasn’t vista’s fault), then I got it back and I was sitting here, playing with so much to get it right, then dealing with all the hiccups trying to make it run the programs correctly. Why, I have XP Pro with everything loaded that works just fine. I have learned Vista enough to use it, so thats good enough. I am gong back to XP, might make it have the black appearance as Vista, but watching it lock up when I try to load a game is getting old.
