Well, I made it to school. Everything went pretty well, except my memory of Trigonometry. I was good at it once, I am just having trouble seeing it visually. I am sure it will come back soon, I just might have to do some extra research to refresh my memory of it. The class is cool though, I am really going to like it, it covers structural loads. Loads on beams and columns, deflection, and compression. I like it, just need to bone up on the math of it. I don’t see it being much of a problem. Anyway, this is the class I am talking about TME 216 – Statics and Strength of Materials.

Well, its time. School starts tomorrow at 8am. Little nervous but I am ready for it. I sort of know what I am expecting with two of my classes.k Anyway, here is a link for a reminder of my classes. Registered for School

Last night my friend Lloyd came over and helped me take what I had in my head for my website and put it on the computer. While it didn’t quite come out perfect, I think it is pretty good. Tweaking will be done more later. Before last night, I had three sort of different, unlinked sites. Online picture resume, weblog, and picture gallery. Now, I have a single opening page with the choice to go to the three sub pages. Now if a different page is added, instead of sending people the new link which they would have to save seperately, they can just use the same link to my page and click on the new button that will lead them to the new page. I think it will work out well. Anyway, nap time.

Today I went and picked up my Mom from the airport in Newark NJ. It rained the entire way up there and the driving sucked. I was happy to see my Mom again, I actually missed her calling here and bugging me about something. School is starting soon and I am nervous and excited about that, stuff is going to get harder soon. I am going to have to put more effort into it. Things are good, I just have to keep up on them. Hopefully, working and tinkering with the Olds will keep me occupied when I am not doing school work. First time I ever woke early to wash a car was last Saturday when I took it out for the afternoon. Usually I recover/sleep in from Friday night. EVERYONE has said I need a hobby, and it looks like this is one I can do, and enjoy.

Yesterday I went to Kinzers Machinery Show, it was huge. I had no idea it was as big as it was. I took the Olds out for a spin to the show. Washed it in the morning and checked to make sure the new thermostat wasn’t leaking. The car ran well, the carb needs rebuilt and I was able to locate and purchase the kit, now I just need to get it done. I wasn’t able to take many pictures of the show or the car because the camera that I was using died after I was at the show only 10 minutes. My friend Ethan that I was going to meet out there took pics so when I get them I will put up some more. The pics that I was able to take can be viewed on my gallery, or here for a direct link. Today I am just tying up some loose ends on the computer and relaxing. I did post pictures of Fernanda’s birthday party on my Gallery. Here is a picture of the Olds with my brother Andrew driving.
